'Screamer' aired on Border on 22.7.83 at 11pm-12.20am (billed as 'film', source 'The Times'). 'The Devil's Web' had a later rescheduled date on Border on 15.4.83 - 11-12.20 slot again (source 'The Times'), this may have freed up 30.11.82 for a replacement episode - 'Possession' or 'Sleepwalker', with the other on 9.9.93.
ReplyDeleteThanks Martin - episodes just billed by their "movie" title are easily missed. I think you're right that the two "missing" episodes may have been screened by Border on 30.11.82 and 9.9.83. The fact that they ended their repeats nine months before the "deadline" also suggests they had completed their quota. Local papers are the best chance of checking this but are hard to find for this sparsely-populated region, nor are there many viewers who watched Thriller on Border who might have seen them (I'm not sure if you've ever come across a Border Thriller viewer although I'm sure they're out there).
