1980s Repeats of Thriller on Southern TV / TVS

Although repeats of Thriller on Southern TV did not start until October 1981 it then showed nine in the final weeks of the year before its franchise passed to TVS at the start of 1982. That change did not impede the momentum and ultimately the region was one of only four in the UK to repeat all the episodes of Thriller and was the second to complete the set in July 1983. Indeed it would have done so at the end of March had not Death in Deep Water been postponed twice in 1982. This also meant that episodes starring Bradford Dillman started and ended its run.
