1980s Repeats of Thriller on Tyne-Tees Television

Tyne-Tees (serving the North East of England) was unusual in broadcasting a large number of its Thriller repeats immediately after News at Ten and the brief local news bulletin, leading to a very precise start time of 10.32 pm although most its screenings in 1983 and 1984 started after 11 pm (though none started after midnight unlike some other regions). In that sense it was one of the best areas for those who wanted to see the show without staying-up so late. It was also unusual in its large number of broadcasts in Spring 1984 as the deadline (end of June 1984) approached. even so it still ended up six episodes short.
